Fardystown Water Supply

This scheme involved the provision of approximately 12 Ml/day of potable water to the Fardystown supply area in South Wexford. PH McCarthy involvement included preparation of a Preliminary Report, Environmental Impact Statement, Part8 planning support, wayleave and land purchase support, network analysis and demand review, treatment, pumps, pipeline and reservoir design and preparation of contract documents. PH McCarthy also supervised and administered the construction and successful commissioning of the project. The project will ultimately involve groundwater abstraction of 26Ml/day together with the provision of 45Ml of storage and approximately 50km of pipeline up to 800mm diameter.
