N22 Ovens To Ballyvourney
PH McCarthy with associated consultants were commissioned for the offline upgrading of 43km of the N22 west of Cork city. The scheme ties into the recently completed Ballincollig bypass and will provide a bypass of Macroom, Ballymakery and Ballyvourney before tying into the already upgraded N22 just before the Cork city border.
The main items of work include the assessment of existing constraints, route option assessment, selection of the preferred route and preliminary design; environmental assessment and preparation of EIS; providing assistance with public consultation and advancing other statutory procedures.
