Belarmine Housing & Village Centre Development, Stepaside, Co Dublin
The total development occupies 60 acres and comprises 1,100 residential units. Phase 1 of the project consists of 508 residential units. This is made up of 286 apartments in blocks of up to 6 storeys and 222 houses/duplexes. This phase also includes a local commercial centre.
The development design adopted a SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage System) approach in dealing with surface water. The chosen solution includes the utilisation of Storm Water Detention Basins that have been landscaped to provide a pleasant environment.
