Housing At Castletroy
The development of 249 dwellings is located on an 8.1 hectare site, 4.5km east of Limerick city. PH McCarthy Consulting Engineers is responsible for civil engineering design including roads, foul sewers, surface water sewers and watermains.
A 7.5m wide road has been constructed to allow access to the site. Surface water will be collected by two surface water networks, each will be attenuated in an underground storage tank. Controlled flows from the storage tank will discharge to the Goody River. The foul sewer network will flow to a manhole in the west corner of the site, which will tie into the existing county council sewer. Potable water will be provided by connecting a new watermain to the existing watermain at the site entrance.
