Dun Laoghaire Town Centre Improvement Scheme
PH McCarthy was appointed to prepare detailed designs, contract documents, evaluate tenders and supervise construction for the Dun Laoghaire Town Centre Improvement Scheme. The aim of the scheme was to enhance the town centre environment for both traders and shoppers by upgrading pedestrian facilities and introducing traffic calming. Pedestrian facilities were upgraded and traffic calming was introduced. To minimise future disruption it was also decided to upgrade and strengthen the existing underground services that were in a poor condition.
