FÁS Tallaght

PH McCarthy was appointed by FAS to advise on the civil and structural engineering aspects of the provision of new training facilities at their existing centre in Tallaght. The project involves the construction of a new building and the work will be carried out in two phases. A 10,180m² building and associated infrastructure works was constructed initially. Users then decanted into the new building and the existing centre will be demolished to accommodate a 160 space car parking area. The new facility comprises a five storey office & classroom block, double height workshop facilities and storage & plant space.
