City Type Garda Station
PH McCarthy are engaged as the mechanical and electrical consulting engineers for the new Garda Station on Rochestown Avenue, Kill O'The Grange. The building includes offices, cells, changing areas, storage areas and interview rooms.
The electrical services installation comprises mains distribution, sub main cabling, lighting, fire alarm, intruder alarm, general power, emergency generator works and voice / data systems. The mechanical services installation comprises heating, ventilation, water, drainage and fire protections services.
The site is a green field site adjacent to the National Rehabilitation Hospital. A new entrance from Rochestown Avenue to the site is being provided.
