Teagasc Laboratory, Carlow

PH McCarthy was appointed Mechanical & Electrical Consulting Engineers for the new plant research building in Carlow. The 1,400m² building is located at the Teagasc facility in Oak Park, Carlow. The building includes laboratories, growth rooms and an instrument room.

The electrical services installation comprised mains distribution, sub mains cabling, lighting, fire alarm, intruder alarm and general power services. The mechanical services installation comprised heating, air conditioning, fume cupboard ventilation, laboratory gases, water services, laboratory drainage and fire protection.
